• logo says: 'Yelala' in Hebrew and in English
  • Yelala is an ancient Hebrew word meaning a loud expression of something to that needs to be released, whether a wail of sorrow, a howl of rage, or an exclamation of joy.

Yelala is a UK-based constellation of projects curated by Kohenet Rachel Rose Reid and Kohenet Yael Tischler, the first women outside of North America to be ordained by the Kohenet Hebrew Priestess Institute.

This is Jewish-rooted, earth-centred sharing of empowering, embodied practice and marginalised wisdom from Biblical antiquity to the present day.

    December 2024-March 2025 | Zoom

In our fourth season of Cottage in the Woods, we will be raising up the hearth and home as places where magic is made. From the deep nourishment of heritage foods, to the divine work of weaving, from the protection of amulets to the power of homemade ritual. Join us as part of the cottage resident cohort, or for a single class. We look forward to being there with you.
